Chamberlain’s reputation as the industry leader in access control products is solid. We make customer satisfaction our number one priority by providing the best product support available. Our 40 years of experience helps us deliver safety, security, and convenience for all our garage door openers, wireless intercoms, or other access control and communication products.

Warranties can differ depending on where you purchased the product. For more specific warranty information, check your owner’s manual. To download a copy of your Chamberlain owner’s manual, enter the model number in the search field above. The model number can usually be found under the light lens cover. Get help locating your model number.

If there is a problem with parts during the warranty period, contact Chamberlain’s Technical Support Center and we will attempt to help you solve the problem. If a defect is discovered, we will ship a new part for no charge. Instructions are provided with every part so the owner can install it themselves.

Service is not covered by the warranty. If the owner chooses to have a professional technician service the garage door opener, the owner is responsible for any service charges.

Once the warranty expires, it is reasonable to expect a charge for any parts or labor that may be required to keep the product in proper working order.

Residential door for non-commercial use

Garaga provides a Lifetime Limited warranty on its residential insulated garage doors: Princeton, Cambridge, Eastman, Standard+, Acadia 138, H-Tech, Top Tech, Vantage and Village Collection with Vantage construction from the time of installation, for as long as you own the door.

The California full vision door, for residential use only, has a 25-year warranty on its aluminum components, 10 years on the sealed thermopane windows against seal defects, and 1 year against glass breakage. This warranty is valid from the date of installation, for as long as you own the door.

GARAGA provides a 15-year warranty for its Regal and Village Collection with Regal construction.

If you find a manufacturing defect with your GARAGA garage door, please contact the GARAGA dealer who sold you the product to present your claim. The serial number of the door and/or the door opener will be needed to trace the product in our files. Here is how to find the serial number.

LIFTMASTER^® LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA

The Chamberlain Group LLC (“Seller”) warrants to the first retail purchaser of this product, for the residence in which this product is originally installed (except where prohibited by applicable law (which may include the Province of Quebec)), that it is free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for the applicable warranty period stated for the product(the “Warranty Period”). The warranty period commences from the date of purchase.

The proper operation of this product is dependent on your compliance with the instructions regarding installation, operation, and maintenance and testing. The warranty does not cover damage(s) or defect resulting from the failure to comply strictly with those instructions. If, during the limited warranty period, this product appears to contain a defect covered by this limited warranty, call (800) 528-5880 for residential products and (800) 528-2806 for commercial products toll free, before dismantling this product. You will be advised of disassembly and/or shipping instructions when you call. Then send the product or component, pre-paid and insured, as directed to our service center for warranty repair. Please include a brief description of the problem and a dated proof-of-purchase receipt with any product returned for warranty repair. Products returned to Seller for warranty repair, which upon receipt by Seller are confirmed to be defective and covered by this limited warranty, will be repaired or replaced (at Seller’s sole option) at no cost to you and returned pre-paid. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced with new or factory-rebuilt parts at Seller’s sole option. You are responsible for any costs incurred in removing and/or reinstalling the product or any component.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE FOR THE RELATED COMPONENT(S), AND NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES WILL EXIST OR APPLY AFTER SUCH PERIOD. SOME STATES AND PROVINCES (WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC) DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Because Seller cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Seller or an authorized reseller in the United States or Canada, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Seller reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER NON-DEFECT DAMAGE, DAMAGE CAUSED BY IMPROPER INSTALLATION, OPERATION OR CARE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ABUSE, MISUSE, FAILURE TO PROVIDE REASONABLE AND NECESSARY MAINTENANCE, UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR ANY ALTERATIONS TO THIS PRODUCT), LABOR CHARGES FOR REINSTALLING A REPAIRED OR REPLACED UNIT, REPLACEMENT OF CONSUMABLE ITEMS (E.G., BATTERIES IN REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTERS AND LIGHT BULBS), OR UNITS INSTALLED FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL USE. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS WITH, OR RELATING TO, THE GARAGE DOOR OR GARAGE DOOR HARDWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE DOOR SPRINGS, DOOR ROLLERS, DOOR ALIGNMENT OR HINGES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ALSO DOES NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS CAUSED BY INTERFERENCE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER’S LIABILITY FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY EXCEED THE COST OF THE PRODUCT COVERED HEREBY. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO ASSUME FOR US ANY OTHER LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THIS PRODUCT.

The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under this warranty will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law (which may include the Province of Quebec).

SOME STATES AND PROVINCES (WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND PROVINCE TO PROVINCE.

You can, therefore, be rest assured that you own one of the safest, most reliable opener systems in the world that will provide you with many years of reliable, trouble-free performance.

All Marantec garage door opener systems in the Synergy Collections are available with a limited lifetime warranty on the motor as well as the belt and chain drive system. This limited lifetime warranty includes the gear assembly – a major difference in comparison to other competitors.

Residential Operator Warranty Information

-Synergy 380, 370 and 360 also offer a limited 8-year warranty on parts.

-Synergy 270 includes a 4-year limited warranty on all parts.

-Synergy 260 is available with a 2-year limited warranty on parts.

-All accessories offer a one-year warranty.

-All LED lighting system products offer a 5-year warranty.

IMPORTANT: The Limited Warranty is null and void if the System is not installed within 24 months of the date of manufacture as marked on the product housing. The Limited Lifetime* portion of the warranty is for as long as the original purchaser of the Marantec System owns his or her home – OR – 20,000 system open and close cycles, whichever comes first.

Commercial Operator Warranty Information

-All accessories offer a one-year limited warranty.

IMPORTANT: The Limited Warranty is null and void if the System is not installed within 24 months of the date of manufacture as marked on the product housing.  The Limited Lifetime* portion of the warranty is for as long as the original purchaser of the Marantec System for a two-year period – OR – 40,000 system open and close cycles, whichever comes first.

MIDLAND GARAGE DOOR LIMITED WARRANTY

Midland warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as follows:

RESIDENTIAL garage doors

ThermoGuard™, ThermoSteel™, Series 24

• Midland warrants these steel garage door sections against rust through, paint finish cracking or peeling to the original purchaser for as long as they own the building in which the doors were installed.
• All other components except springs are warranted for 5 years.

Overlay

• Midland warrants these steel garage door sections against rust through, paint finish cracking or peeling to the original purchaser for as long as they own the building in which the doors were installed.
• Midland warrants the Smart Trim Overlay Boards against pulling off from the sections to the original purchaser for 5 years.
• Midland warrants the Smart Trim Overlay Boards against rot, buckling and surface defects to the original purchaser for 10 years.
• All other components except springs are warranted for 5 years.

FullView

• Midland warrants these aluminum garage door sections against rust through, paint finish cracking or peeling to the original purchaser for 5 years.
• All other components except springs are warranted for 5 years.

TS-138, ValuCraft Plus, Series 26

• Midland warrants these steel garage door sections against rust through, paint finish cracking or peeling to the original purchaser for 25 years.
• All other components except springs are warranted for 2 years.‍

Commercial garage doors

2” & 3” ThermoGuard™, 2” & 3” EnergySaver™, CS20 & CS24

• Midland warrants these steel garage door sections against rust through, paint finish cracking or peeling to the original purchaser for 10 years.
• All other components except springs are warranted for 2 years.
• Midland warrants components in a high cycle application for 1 year.

General

• Midland warrants the 3” EnergySaver™ sections used in harsh environments to the original purchaser for 1 year. No other section models are warranted when used in a harsh environment application.
• Midland warrants the harsh environment component package for 1 year.
• Midland warrants springs in all applications for 1 year to the original purchaser.
• Midland warrants all its ThermoSteel™, EnergySaver™ and ThermoGuard™ sections against delamination for a period of 10 years to the original purchaser

Colorselect™

• Midland’s ColorSelect™ shall be warranted against cracking, blistering, flaking, or peeling to the original purchaser for a period of 5 years under normal use.
• Midland warrants to the original purchaser against aggressive color fade which alters the color of the product more than 5 Delta E units (as measured on a cleaned surface and measured per ASTM D2244) for a period of 5 years.

Warranty exclusions

1. Deterioration due to rust resulting from damage to the garage door section caused by fire, other accident or casualty, vandalism, harmful fumes or chemicals, condensation or occurring as a result of any physical damage.
2. Failure of paint if any top coatings are applied to factory paint.
3. Onsite labor.
4. Freight charges.
5. Scratches or dents occurring after pick-up or delivery from Midland.
6. Damage caused by improper installation, maintenance, or product alteration.
7. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accident.
8. Delamination as a result of a heat source too close to the garage door sections (ex. heaters, lights, etc.)
9. Wear from normal operation.
10. The warranty of the manufacturer shall be limited to the repair or replacement only for such parts which may be acknowledged by the manufacturer to be defective.

To make a claim under this warranty contact your Midland dealer.  A written claim accompanied by proof of purchase must be submitted within 30 days of discovery of the suspected defect. Midland may at its discretion send a representative to inspect the defective part and/or may request that the defective part be returned to the factory freight pre-paid.

No warranty extends to consequential or incidental damages. All other express or implied warranties including any implied warranty of merchantability or implied warranty of fitness for purpose are hereby expressly excluded.
